Django accessibility statement
- Proposal from the accessibility team to make an official statement on the djangoproject.com website
- Goal: share our intentions about our online spaces and tools, and sponsored online and in-person events
- Accessibility team sharing a summary of proposed changes
- Final draft for the board to review before publication
Django active developers sprints
- Idea
- Paolo to make proposal or run a trial
Executive Director update
- Board to discuss internally in the coming weeks
- Look for consulting support to inform our search
Sarah Boyce requests access to add external members to Google Groups
Thibaud has changed the permissins.
Space reserved for Django at PyCon Italia 2025
Possible uses:
- DSF office hours (at least Paolo and Sarah will be present)
- Meeting with some individual members of the DSF
- Live meeting for Djangonaut space
Vote on new Fellowship Working Group members
- Tom Carrick, Jeff Triplett, Carlton Gibson
- Agreed no need to vote for board members to join
- Carlton approved unanimously
Action items
- Jeff Triplett: Create a draft forum post about the proposed bylaws changes.
- Jeff Triplett: Share some questions about other bylaws changes.
- Thibaud Colas: Share report of CLA and alternatives and request feedback from others.
- Thibaud Colas: Prepare agenda item or async update on DjangoCon naming restrictions.
- Paolo Melchiorre: Share plans for Django Software Foundation presence at PyCon Italia.
